Jeremy Causey - Co-Pastor
E-mail Jeremy

Welcome to FAC where we are building strong lives.  We want to become a partner in life with you!

I have spent most of my life as a part of FAC.  After graduating from college I moved home to Forsyth and then to Dublin, GA.  While in Dublin, my wife and I felt the call of God to return to Forsyth to assist with the pastorate of the church in May of 2004.

My passion is for your soul and to see your life changed by the power of God. I know personally what God has done for me and my family and I want to see Him perform the same miracles in your life. Come and be with us and have a great experience in God!

Your Servant,

Rev. Jeremy Causey was called into the ministry in 1998.  He worked at FAC during his time at home and, after graduating from the University of Georgia in 2000, Rev. Causey worked as a minister in our church until accepting the co-pastorate here in 2004.

Rev. Causey married Alycia in 2000. They have two children, Marshall and Madelyn. Rev. Jeremy Causey is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, Inc.

Aileen Palmer - Ladies

I have been a member of FAC since 1970 when God called my husband, Rev. Gerald Palmer, to pastor the church.  I worked with him in the ministry of the church until his death in 1996.  My desire is to be an example to the ladies of our church and to teach them has to live Godly lives according to Proverbs 31:10:

Who can find a virtuous woman?  For her price is far above rubies. (KJV)

My goal is to see our ladies fulfil the role that God has for them in their homes and in our church.  I invite you to come and enjoy the fellowship and great things that God is doing with our ladies!

In God's Service,

Aileen Palmer

Linda Shanks - Outreach

Welcome to FAC where we are Building Strong Lives and reaching the lost at any cost!

It is a great privilege for me to work with the Outreach Department at FAC.  I have a great desire to reach out to those in our community and do whatever I can to be a help to others.  We have several different types of Outreach including the Nursing Home ministry @ the Forsyth Nursing Home and a volunteer day at The Children’s Hospital in Macon.  We also have a Bus Ministry that picks up children for our Children’s Church and Foundations programs.

The Word of God says to “let brotherly love continue” (Hebrews 13:1).  My goal for our Outreach team is that we show the Love of God, reach the lost, and let them see Jesus in us.

In His service,

Linda Shanks

Sheilah Smith - Foundations

Welcome to FAC where we are building strong lives!

I have been an active member of FAC since 1970.  I worked in the Sunday School department as a teacher and later as the Coordinator under the leadership of my father, the late Rev. Gerald Palmer, for 25 years.  As we transitioned our Sunday School into our Foundations program, I assumed the role of Foundations Director under our present leadership.

It is an honor and a privilege to work with the children and staff at FAC.  My desire is to make every child that comes to Foundations feel welcome and important.  We want your children to learn about Jesus and to know that He loves them and wants the very best for their lives.  Jesus said, "suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not" (Luke 18:16).

We would love to have you and your family come and be a part of the exciting things that God is doing at FAC.

In God's Service,

Sheilah Smith

Michelle Smith - Children's Church

A story was once told of a little boty and his grandfather walking along a beach.  The little boy began to notice several starfish that had been washed ashore.  He knew that unless the starfish were returned to the ocean quickly, they would all die.  The boy began to frantically bend down and throw the starfish back into the water.

The grandfather was dismayed and said "son, you can't possibly save all of those starfish; there's just too many to make a difference."  The young boy bent down and threw another starfish back into the water, and looking at his grandfather, said "it made a difference to that one."

This is the burden of my heart:  to make a difference in the lives of every child that attends Children's Church.  I have been a part of FAC my entire life and have had so many teachers that have made a difference in my life.  After graduating from Mary Persons High School in 1994, I had the opportunity to teach the Kindergarten class at FAC.  I loved teaching them from beginning.

I watched my students as they began to learn the Word of God and it was such a thrill!  It wasn't very long after this that God gave me burden to start a Children's Church program.  Our program has seen many changes since we began.  At present, we have approximately 25-30 children from ages 2-12.  As we continue to grow, I hope that the Children's Church program will make a difference in the lives of every child.

I know God is going to continue to bless us and I desire to be faithful to the calling God has placed in my life for your children!

Michelle Smith
